Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Monday issued a decree banning the country's security forces from requesting air support from foreign forces stationed in the country."The Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior and the National Directorate of Security (NDS) or intelligence agency in any situations during their operations in residential areas must not request for airstrike from foreign forces," said a statement issued here by Karzai's office.The move came days after a NATO airstrike claimed the lives of 10 civilians in the country's eastern province of Kunar.The attack, allegedly called by A...
